Absolutely agree. What she and the UCP are doing is a betrayal of her position, of Albertans in general and of the rest of us. She did not campaign on an intention to activate these policies, the Supreme Court has ruled against the kind of referendum she proposed, Albertans have already been denied rights and their recall actions have been ignored. I wonder how much she realizes about the way she is being used by the administration to the south of us. In the meantime, our country is under threat. This is not the time to blackmail the rest of us and further jeopardize our federation.
She also said ~"We have a long term economic strategy to end the Alberta Economoy's reliance on oil. In the medium term, we have a strategy to double oil production". Made me laugh lol.
Also I think the pipeline "capacity inflation" is just acknowledging TMX improvements while maintaining the call for a 1M bbl/d new pipeline.
Oil prices are projected to stay under $70 for the rest of the year. That could change depending on world events but China’s oil demand is flat as of 2025. This is the indicator to watch for future oil demand outlook.
