Another similarity to Trump may be that she shares his desperation to be elected in order to keep out of jail and that while in office she will steal as much of our money as possible so she can run off and live in luxury where she cannot be extradited.
Why is she pulling this latest nonsense with a loan to sell oil herself? Does she want to use it to get herself re-elected or to help the separatists steal Alberta or to build a useless pipeline or to cover up her other unlawful uses of our money; or does she plan to take the money and run before she can be tried and jailed for corruption?
She may not know which course to take herself yet, and trust her to make the stupidest choice.

It is if you can prove it. I have no doubt that what you’re talking about is “dark money” coming in from the US. That’s much worse than MAGA supporting MAGA. What’s supporting both Maple MAGA, but more importantly, Danielle Smith, and separatists is money coming in to her and UCP not just from MAGA, not just from big o&g, but also from the American billionaire class. It is SO to their advantage to have the freedom to come barrelling in and looting and destroying everything we hold dear. If we don’t move her out, and focus on Rob Anderson (our very own Stephen Miller) as well, we have everything to lose. Even if we get her out in the next election (and please don’t go all freaky about “socialism” - it’s what’s made so much of our lives liveable and that we’re losing on an almost daily basis), we are SO SCREWED. I’m sick of feeling brainwashed by American propaganda and the feeling like they are trying to slowly change Canada into America. It sure feels like that’s the plan. Sometimes, it’s overwhelming. Our news has been taken over by America. And I mean how we’re bombarded by what’s going on in the states and that they own so much of our news media. They always put a negative spin on everything to do with the liberals. I watch British, German, and French ( France) news and they say better things about Canada than our own news. I feel even the CBC which is government owned seems biased. Think back to the end of year interviews with Carney and Poillieve. Barton let Poillieve spew his lying filth without pushing back once. And Carney got interrupted so much he could barely finish a sentence. I am sick and tired of the whole MAGA, dark money crap that is going on. I hope our government can pass some legislation to stop these outside influences and shut down MAGA maple and the rest of that crap. And even though I am sick of it, with all the energy I have, I continue to support the resistance!! Canada strong! 🇨🇦

That’s why I’m on Substack. One of my faves is The Bill Kelly Podcast. Also I like Dean Blundell, Charlie Angus. Linda Walker is really good, as is Markham Hislop. I also subscribe to The Tyee. They had a great article on Jeff Rath, the separatist leader of Alberta Prosperity Project - such a creepy slime. But gaining power, a lot of people wavering - Alberta independence? It’s just crazy even on the bare face of it. He’ll sell us wholesale down the river to American billionaires and is too stupid to understand they’ll kick him to the curb once they have full access to everything we have. I’m thinking Manitoba is looking pretty good.
